I Spy Square Set

Good Morning! I didn't think my life could get any busier, but it has, lol. As some of you may know, my DH has been recuperating at my DD's house from major surgery. He returned last Saturday evening and I haven't stopped since then. He can take care of himself mostly, but I am helping him some. One thing he still can't do is cook; and remember, he cooks and I quilt! Well, my DS asked me to make a foil pocket last week. Yesterday, I decided that would make a good dinner. In the first place, I forgot how long it took to cut up the veggies, but it was pretty good, I think. Here is my simple recipe: layer a pan with foil; add 2.5 lbs of ground meat, season to taste. Add onion slices, cut up carrots, potatoes, squash, broccoli or whatever veggies you like. Sprinkle onion soup mix and Cajun seasoning over top. Layer foil over top. Bake 400 degrees for a hour and a half. Enjoy! For the whole recipe, check out my cookbook after I complete it. (It's been in the works for a while now, but I hope to finish it next year.)
I'm still working on square sets in my spare time. I had a special order for I Spy squares. The sizes are 5", but I also do 4". I'm posting a photo of one of the sets; each set will be different, though. I love to use these novelty squares in my I Spy blankies or quilts.
