My beautiful new quilt

Some of you may know I recently had surgery for breast cancer; some of you may not know. It was an experience I would not want to go thru again; nor have any of my friends go thru it. It has helped having caring, supportive friends though. I know I posted before about a wonderful eBay group I'm in. Well, the same group made me a Breast Awareness Quilt which I received today and I'm still in tears. The note said it was to wrap myself in hugs from the group. Thank you, Quilter's Corner Group! You are the best!
(Sorry the photos are poor; I will take more photos in the daylight tomorrow.)

Vintage Fabric Lots

Our weather has been nice today, not cold, not hot. Guess I should have stayed outside, lol. But I did do errands, so didn't stay inside all day. I have been busy, taking photos of lots of vintage fabrics. I have some listed on eBay right now, but do have more to list. Right now, I'm concentrating on the cotton blends -- there are dotted swiss, trigger, polished cotton, cordoroy, cotton knits, organza, and who knows what else? I'm selling these fabrics, cheap, cheap. They could be used in crafts, as Market Bags, as clothing, even in quilts -- if you don't use all 100% cotton. These are unwashed and have been stored in a pet-free, smoke-free home. They are from the 50s to 90s. Just contact me for a price and more photos.

Mystery Quilt

A couple years ago, I did a Mystery Quilt in one of my groups. When I put it together, it came out wrong. It is now a UFO, lol. However, I tried again a few months ago. One of our members is doing a Mystery Quilt; we get a round once a month. So far, I've done five rounds. Here are photos of round 1 & 3.

Heart Candle Mat

It's pretty today, but overcast. What happened to our pretty weather?
As some of you know, I'm in eBay quilt groups. I love them all! I find support, guidance, education and fun. I love to join the challenges. In one of my groups, there is a challenge to make one item every month for Christmas gifts; this month we had to make a heart candle mat. It's so easy! Tomorrow I will post about a Mystery Quilt I'm doing in another group.
Have a great day!

Skulls fabric totes

I have been sewing up a storm, lol. After finishing the baby set, I started work on a special order. I had already made two totes from skulls fabrics. I was asked to do three more. These are OOAK totes; no two will be exactly alike. Here is a photo of them:

Baby Set

We've been enjoying pretty weather here. Hope the weekend is the same. I've been busy sewing on raggy items. My latest project is a raggy baby quilt and raggy diaper bag. I love the cute novelty prints, don't you? I will be listing in our selling blog and can also do a custom order with your choice of colors.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope everyone is having a nice Valentine's Day. The weather is gorgeous here in southeast Texas. Meagan, our 28 month old granddaughter, is having fun playing on carport with her Grandpa. I've beem in the house sewing Xs on squares for a new baby quilt I'm working on. There will be a diaper bag to match also. I'll list it in my blog when it's completed. I also do custom orders.
Bye for now!

new Raggy Round Robin quilt

The other day, I blogged about the beautiful raggy round robin I received back. Well, it's now clipped and washed. I took a photo and measured it; it's 91" x 83". I wanted to show it off. Thanks again to my Quilting Corner friends!

New Raggy Totes

I had another custom order for a totebag. I made two, planning on listing one on etsy. However, both sold today. Yea! I do have more fabric, though, and can make more. Visit our selling blog (Raggy Anne Creations) and e-mail me. As a special note, these are One of a Kind; no two are exactly alike.

Cold Day in Southeast Texas

I know our cold weather here cannot compare to other states with ice and snow, but southeast Texas has a short winter. My body is not used to the coldness of today. So, I did no crafting today, but did manage to wash a few dishes and cook Chickenetti for dinner. When my DH brought in the mail, there was a beat up box; I knew immediately what it was. I'm in a few wonderful eBay quilting groups. In one of them, we did a raggy round robin. It was fun, but DH kept asking if I realized how much time I was spending on them. I said yes, and I would receive a raggy quilt back some day. Well, he thinks now it was worth all the time. My round robin is gorgeous! It's so large that I couldn't take the whole quilt all by myself, but I wanted to show it before it was clipped. When I clip and wash it, I'll take another photo, but will do it with help so the whole thing can be pictured. This should keep me warm while I'm clipping it, lol. Thanks to all my Quilting Corner friends.
