my friend, Nancy

Good Morning! We did draw for our winners in the Giveaways in the Crafting Friends Trio blog. The winner of my mug rug is Nellie Huggs; her gift is on the way. We appreciate all the visitors and entries. There will be another Giveaway in February. Hope you visit us again. If you have a chance, visit Nancy Huggin's blog, http://insidenanashead.blogspot.com/. It is too cute!

New Mug Rugs

Good Morning! This is way too early for me, especially on a Saturday, lol. Can you tell I'm having a hard time staying asleep at night? Of course, it's the quietest it will be all day. I'm slowly adding mug rugs to my etsy shop. The one pictured is about 7.5" by 7" and is done in a crazy quilt pattern, which I love to do. I've just done a custom order listing -- can do a mug rug for you in your choice of colors. Thanks for looking!

January 6, 2015

I'm still not used to typing 2015, are you? Well, grandkids went back to school today and it was cold! By this weekend, it will be freezing rain. We're not used to this weather in Texas. I didn't do any housework today, but did list on etsy and worked on new mug rugs. If you haven't visited our new blog, would you? http://craftingfriendstrio.blogspot.com/ Hope you had a fun day!

My Mug Rug Swap

Yesterday was a "grandma" day; I had four of my grandkids at my house off and on. My 3rd DGS is spending the weekend here. Then my DD's youngest two stayed while she had errands to do. The boys were pretty good; the 2 year old just took a little attention. I did manage to work on my surgical caps, even with them here. It helped that DD cooked our dinner, lol. Oh, the older one did come for dinner.
As some of you know, I'm in eBay groups. I love the friendships I have made there. Also love the swaps we do. The latest in one of the groups is a mug rug. I'm posting a photo of mine. One side is a solid piece of handpainted fabric; the other is strips. Didn't Nancy do a great job? She is selling her handdyed/handpainted fabrics on her blog: hugginshaven, http://hugginshaven.blogspot.com/
