Happy Thursday!

Today was to be rain all day. Well, rain started yesterday and now it's gone. Our town was expecting the worst from Tropical Storm Cindy but it changed paths. The bad thing is we won't prepare the next time. Oh well, we all have clean yards and a stocked pantry, lol. I finished the 2nd kiddie quilt and listed on etsy. On to the next one! https://www.etsy.com/listing/524357100/baby-quilt-strip-handmade-i-spy-tummy?ref=listings_manager_grid

Kiddie Baby Quilt 1

I finished the first kiddie quilt. The back is so soft with fleece. Second quilt is being worked. We are watching for Tropical Storm Cindy; hope we don't lose power.

I Spy blankie

Good Morning!  Yesterday was a wonderful Mother's Day!  My sweet DIL, Laurie, took a photo of Josh holding the newest I Spy blankie.  Josh is our youngest DGS; Meagan is sitting next to him.  They are loving cousins.  (If the photo doesn't show up, check my etsy items.)

Good Morning, Wednesday, February 1st!

Good Morning! It's February 1st and it's muggy and drizzling, but I'm still glad to be alive. How about you?
I've been busy sewing and babysitting. What a great combination! I've been working on a special order; she wanted a blue & yellow raggy lap quilt. I'll post it as soon as it arrives in North Carolina.
Today I'm going to start on an I Spy raggy quilt. I only have one little blankie left to sell -- after all the ones I've made in the past. Maybe I'll make more than one, lol. Here is a photo of one of my I Spy quilts.
Have a great day!

Handmade I Spy Raggy Quilt

I took a break from the charms I've been cutting out. I had these I Spy charms cut out since last year. I finished it today. Two years ago, I decided to make a quilt for each one of my grandchildren. I had made three of them; this one will be for Gabe. Now, I only have the three girls to make.
